Cassie's first litter was a one pup litter. Pilot went to a family that hunts as often as possible. You can see from the below email Pilot fits into that family VERY WELL.
What a great first hunting season! I have a freezer full of ducks and many memories from this past season. Pilot retrieved his first duck at 5 months old and another 70 ducks through out the season. We hunted smaller marshes flooded corn and big open water on Saginaw Bay. Both my son Anthony and my Daughter Christine were able to hunt over Pilot. Only 2 ducks were knocked down and not found this season and this was on the open water where the divers can travel very long distances under water without coming up for air. This by far was my best season for ducks not lost and Pilot is the reason. Pilot loves to find birds that are dropped in heavy cover. We try to drop the birds in the water but that does not always happen. We were able to partridge hunt at the end of duck season before the heavy snows came. Pilot worked through the cover perfectly always looking back to see where we were and where we were going. I plan on doing a few trips to the pheasant farms this winter and train through to next hunting season. Merry Christmas for now and hope every thing is going well for you and Lesa.
